Through investments and additional contributions, the principal value of the Foundation has grown to exceed $6.3 million. Scores of organizations have been helped by grants totaling in the millions of dollars, all from income earned by the gift, since that 20th day of June, 1961.

The Geneseo Foundation remains an active part of the Geneseo community. All income generated within one year must be distributed by the end of the following year. Annual gifts approved from the Foundation average approximately $246,000*.
