The Geneseo Foundation has scholarship funds available for graduating high school seniors. Mr. Dedrick long recognized the community's need for educated citizens, and that the costs of education may prohibit many deserving students from fulfilling their dreams. The foundation's scholarship funds help assure that students have opportunities for education at all levels.

Geneseo Foundation Scholarship - Two scholarships, of $3,000 each, are awarded annually to a graduating senior from JD Darnall High School.

National Honor Society & National Vocational Technical Honor Society - Each graduating member of these organizations from JD Darnall High School receives a $100 cash scholarship from the Foundation.

Keppy Memorial Scholarship - The Geneseo Foundation administers the Wilbert & Carol Keppy Memorial Scholarship Program. The scholarship recognizes individuals who are graduates of a Henry County high school, and are pursuing a degree in agricultural or similar related field. The Keppy Memorial Scholarship provides for three scholarships annually to a college junior or senior, payable at $500 per semester for up to two years.
